our story
At Sacred Yes Tattoo, we strive to create a unique space that feels safe & welcoming in spite of differences in age, gender, morals, religious beliefs, or political views. We just want to love on you!
“When God impressed a tattoo studio on my heart, I ignored it.
Surely I couldn’t handle a responsibility like that. Surely someone who grew up from generations of low-income families, someone who didn’t graduate college, could even know where to begin opening a business. But God impressed it on me again in September 2020... in the middle of a pandemic. So badly I wanted to say no.
"God, what if I can’t afford to pay the bills of both the shop AND home rent?"
"God, I don’t want to leave a shop with the highest reputation in my city. I don’t want to lose their friendships."
"God, I’m scared people will talk poorly about me for bringing Your name into an industry that isn’t associated with You."
I was reminded of something important though: I told God no matter what, however scary a situation, however it might hurt, I'd say "yes" to Him—I'd choose His will over mine.
So with doubt & fear in my heart, I drew this image of what I felt the shop would look like...
A few months later, that drawing became real.
With God by your side & a "sacred yes" uttered from your mouth, anything is possible.”
- Jazmin Santiago
“I’m obviously not trying to flatter you or water down my message to be popular with men, but my supreme passion is to please God. For if all I attempt to do is please people, I would fail to be a true servant of Christ.”
Galatians 1:10 TPT
